The University of Miami,
in collaboration with Ryder System, Inc. and IBM, has created the
Center to provide executives with strategic ideas and approaches
supported by best practices from successful companies. The Center
is a unique partnership of academics, business executives, and
world-renowned industry experts. Its aim is to advance the knowledge
and practice
of Supply Chain Management (SCM) on a global basis.
Leading edge content for the seminars is derived
from the faculty of the University of Miami, world-class instructors,
sponsoring
business partners, and the members of the Center’s Expert
Team. This broad and deep knowledge base assures that the Center
maintains high
quality timely programs, and integrates sound academic and proven
business practices. It also increases awareness of the value that
effective supply chain management brings to shareholders, and the
competitive advantages it provides all types of businesses.
Delivering business success in today’s global economy is
more demanding and challenging than ever before. This requires management
