CASCM was established in 2003 with support from Ryder System, Inc. and IBM.

The Center is housed in the College of Engineering with contributions from Industrial Engineering, School of Business, School of Law, the Inter-American Sponsor Program, and corporate members.

Our focus is on research, development and training in the field of supply chain management and brings together professionals, academicians, and students on a collaborative platform.

The center functions based on corporate memberships, research projects, and training programs.

The active relationship with our corporate counterparts enables us add value to member companies by helping them solve and manage their complex problems, deliver rewarding hands-on education for our students, provide access to skilled candidates as future employees, and develop effective training programs for practitioners.

In this rich creative environment new insights for Supply Chain Innovation are nurtured. Industry members and project sponsors get solutions and new intellectual property to apply to their businesses.

The center aims at advancing knowledge, practice, education and research in the field of capacity management, order policies, metrics and maps. We are keenly interested in establishing relationship and collaborations with active industry members located in South Florida and the LAC (Latin America and the Caribbean basin).
