Management Consulting for IBM Global Services. He is a recognized

chain management, as well as logistics and transportation. He has over 20 years
consulting experience with companies across all industries.
Mr. Reuben Slone is an Operations executive of the
Whirlpool Corporation, based in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He has held
executive positions at other
corporations,
and has been a consulting partner at one of the top global firms. He
is a recognized high-performing executive who understands, values,
and leads
supply
chain excellence.

Mr. Gary Smith is vice president, Global Logistics
with the Integrated Supply Chain organization of the IBM Corporation.
He has leadership responsibility for all global logistic strategies
and operations as part of IBM’s end-to-end supply chain for
all the logistics associated with IBM components and finished goods.
He has also served in supply chain/logistics management positions
with PepsiCo, Navistar, and Ford Motor. Mr. Smith serves on other
advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at industry and educational
seminars and conferences.
Mr. Gene Tyndall is Associate Director of the Center.
He most recently led Ryder’s
Global Supply Chain Solutions business. Prior to joining Ryder, he was global
leader of the SCM practice for one of the top global consulting firms, where
he consulted to over 100 Fortune global companies and co-authored four books.
He has also written numerous articles, continues to present at numerous worldwide
conferences and seminars, and is frequently quoted in industry, technology and
business journals.
Ms. Barbara L. Whittaker is the Executive Director
of Machinery & Equipment
and Indirect Purchasing for General Motors. She has extensive global experience
in Supply Chain Management for both direct material and indirect material. She
has received numerous awards, including, GM President’s Council Honor,
2000 Women of the Year for African Americans on Wheels, Woman to Watch in Purchasing
2001 Purchasing Magazine and many other distinguished awards.
